From Monday the 2nd of May until Thursday the 4th of May I’ll be involved in running a PhD school with members of the Swedish design research community, at Goldsmiths. I’ve been working in collaboration with Pelle Ehn, Peter Ullmark and Sara Ilstedt Hjelm to organise a series of talks, workshops and discussions that will allow the students to engage with sites, issues and concepts related to London, speculative design and science and technology studies.

Monday May 2nd

18.30 Arrive at London Hotel Meeting in the hotel lobby 18.30 with Goldsmiths for an evening meal. Discussion of the program. Introduction to Goldsmiths. Dinner at 19.30 at Meze Mangal (245 Lewisham Way SE4 1XF). Transport St John’s rail/Lewisham rail/DLR.

Tuesday May 3rd

09:15 – 12:00 London Site Visits Site visits in preparation for the afternoon workshop with Alex Wilkie & Tobie Kerridge. To be carried out in the theme groups. Theme groups will go to different sites and departure is from the hotel.
12:00 – 13:00 Lunch With site visit groups.
13:00 – 14:00 How do you perform your thesis?
